FAQs

Got a question about how we work? Here are the answers to a few of our most common queries, covering everything from our quoting process to the typical lead times you can expect when you partner with us.

We look forward to working with you soon!

Our process is probably quite similar to how you’d quote for your own clients. We’ll take a look at the brief, get a thorough understanding of the work that’s involved and the resource that’s needed to complete it, then provide a quote based on the amount of time it’ll take. With more than 20 years’ experience under our belt, our timing assessments are pretty accurate!

If the scope changes mid-job in a way that affects the costing, we’ll update the quote and send it back over to you for approval. This makes sure there’s no surprises – and we won’t quibble over a few extra bits and bobs you might need along the way.

We do! The AA9 team has worked on all different kinds of video projects, everything from 2D and 3D animation to filming and editing. Our experience covers internal and external projects, and we can take care of scriptwriting and tone of voice, storyboarding, and adapting the relevant information to suit the right audience – whether that’s an internal team, healthcare professionals or members of the public.

Our video production capabilities include:

  • Filming and editing – on-location or remote
  • Animations for social media
  • Motion graphics and green screen applications
  • Patient stories
  • Event trailers
  • Graphic animations to bring study results to life
  • Transforming PowerPoint presentations into animated experiences

We’re a creative agency, so this is what we do best! If you have a tight brief, we can take your ideas and expand on them – or apply them to an existing brand or concept. And if you’re starting from scratch, we can develop new ideas then see them through to completion.

Absolutely – we love nothing more than getting stuck into a pitch! There are two different levels of support we can offer on these types of projects:

  • Execution: you’ve already working on the creative strategy and idea, so we bring it to life with design and artwork.
  • Conceptualisation: our Creative Director will look at the initial concept, strategic ideas, copy lines and overall bigger picture.

Get in touch any time to tell us about your next pitch or proposal.

This all depends on each individual client and the demands of their project. For some clients, we plan the lead times ahead – it works for them, and for us. And for others, we work on emergency jobs with tight deadlines – so we establish what their lead times are and look to work towards them.

We’re very adaptable depending on what our clients need. If they’re looking for someone to act as an extension of their team, we’ll become their creative partner. If they need an expert in a particular skill, our breadth of experience means we can help fill this gap. Or if they need a safe pair of hands for emergency situations, we can be their reliable friend.

Hopefully that’s given you an overview of what you can expect from working with our talented team, but if you do have any other questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch.
