Project Overview In England and Wales alone there are approximately 32,000 deaths each year from blood clots acquired in hospital. The Stop the Clot campaign was a high profile public health campaign that aimed to raise awareness and increase understanding of the real risk of blood clots acquired in hospital and reduce

the number of unnecessary deaths in the UK. This show reel summarised the success and reach of the 12-week pilot campaign in the East Midlands and the East of England. Circulation exceeded 18 million, resulted in 249 pieces of coverage and the support of 15 Trusts in the area.
